Mira Prism App
Mira Prism app - 3.25.0
This update includes further app stability improvements.
New Features
- Headset user will now capture a high-resolution image, using the full resolution of the onboard camera during a connect call. The web user will still capture the standard resolution capture from the video feed.
- The same high resolution image is available during the image capture in a Flow Step.
- The in headset tutorials have been updated to include the latest functionality
- A headset user can now join an active room based on the name rather than only being able to be called to join an existing room. The user will see a list of all of the active rooms they are able to join
- The default room name will be visible on the call screen.
- Improved call reconnection in low bandwidth environment
Mira Prism Business App - Version 3.25.0
All features and improvements listed above for the Prism Pro app V 3.25.0 release are also included in this release.
Web suite - Version 2.14.0
New Features
- Implemented a guest queue so that a guest can be permitted to join a call after the host joins the call without resubmitting their requests
- Implemented a pre-call lobby to an authenticated (logged in) user to set their audio-video settings similar to what was recently released for guest participants.
- Enabled the ability for an authenticated user to login from the Guest pre-call Lobby after they have used a call link.
- Changed the name of the messages to Report Notes to help give a more clear understanding of the use for this communication tool
- Ability for the Web User to add a unique name to the room when it is created. If a name is not added, a unique name consisting of the created first name and a unique set of characters will automatically be assigned.
- A web user can now join an active room based on the name. The user will see a list of all of the active rooms they are able to join on the suite home page
- Added a tone when a participant joins or leaves a call
Resolved Issues
- All Audio-Video settings set in the pre-call lobby are transferred into the call.
Known Issues
For Connect 2.0, the following are known "non blocker" issues, with ways to work around these until fixed.
Description |
Available temporary workaround |
Frequency |
The tooltip that appears when the web user captures an image to inform them to request a high-quality image from the headset user |
The message appears all the time, even if the headset user can not capture the higher-resolution image because they are using an older version of the firmware, or if the image capture is not from a headset. This will be corrected in the software for a future release |
Consistent |
Calling a user who is offline will not tell you the user is unavailable, will ring out |
Avoid calling users who are offline |
Consistent |
Call reconnection currently times out after ~ 40 seconds |
Avoid remaining in extremely low bandwidth or non network available areas |
Consistent |
Connect 2.0 feedback screen does not display the customer-defined call resolution questionnaire. |
Leverage the existing generic survey |
Consistent |
Closing the Prism Pro application during a call doesn't end the call. |
Re-opening the app within a few seconds will typically re-establish the call (if Prism Pro app is closed accidentally) Otherwise, do nothing and call will end within 30 seconds, as the headset user will be deemed “offline” (if Prism Pro app is closed intentionally) |
Consistent |
The Prism Pro notification “Your device is offline” does not dismiss when the connection to the internet has re-established. |
Close the app and restart it |
Rare |
Prism Pro app performance may decrease with increased feature usage and might render the app unusable - i.e. Screen sharing, magnifying glass, picture taking/viewfinder. |
Use of iPhone SE2020 over older phones can help. Close other apps before call. Avoid iPhone being subject to extremely warm conditions. |
Rare (phone dependent) |
In low bandwidth conditions, the visual tile of another participant may disappear after a reconnection while the audio remains connected. |
Hang up and be re-invited back in. |
Occasional |
