Firmware Version 1.2.1
Summary
This update includes:
1. a new feature that will allow the headset to shut itself off when the Mira app isn’t open to help preserve battery.
2. a fix for a bug that can cause headsets in a very low battery state that hadn’t been used in over a week to be inoperable.
3. the ability for firmware updates to be done more easily in the future.
Details
1. Auto-shut off
This feature will automatically cause the headset to power down. If there is no phone in the headset, it will power down after 15 minutes. If there is a phone in the headset, but the Mira Prism app is not open, it will power down after 30 minutes. The headset will not power down if either the charger is plugged into the headset or if the phone is plugged into the headset and the Mira Prism app is open.
2. Low battery bug fix
Previously, if the headset was left in a low battery state for an extended period of time (over a week), it could occasionally render the headset inoperable. This update fixes this bug so the headset will not get into this state.
3. Shorter and more reliable future firmware updates
This update is around a 40-60 minutes install, and in some cases can require more than one attempt (especially in older headsets). Once this firmware update has occurred, future updates should install in approximately 20 minutes and more reliably on the first attempt.
